the weather, and other unpredictable things

The weather has actually been beautiful.  I, on the other hand, have been laid up with something awful.  In solidarity, Casey the girl dog threw up a bunch. Momma said there'd be days like this, so despite some exciting new ideas for the world of this blog, we both decided to call it a week.
